Attendees gained a deeper understanding of psychological safety and its profound impact on workplace culture, team performance and individual well-being. Through group discussions, case studies and hands-on activities, Dr. Dom showed how to recognize barriers, build trust and inclusion, and cultivate psychological safety within teams and organizations. Chelsea offered introductory remarks on working with employers to ensure that employees can safely report concerns about harassment or misconduct— and what to do if an employer is unresponsive. Jennifer and Kaitlin gave a short demonstration on physical safety and situational awareness, empowering us to act with confidence instead of anxiety.
