RSVP-of-MontcoRSVP of Montgomery County is a multiservice nonprofit organization that utilizes a dedicated corps of 1,200 volunteers to meet the critical human needs in and around Montgomery County.

Offering a way for employees and individual volunteers to help improve their communities, several corporations have been partnering with RSVP to participate in team-building and community service opportunities. Groups of anywhere from five to 250 employees join together to make a lasting impact in their communities. Through ten Volunteer Impact Programs and 300 nonprofit agency partners, there are a variety of short- and long-term projects.

Projects may include outdoor work at a local Nature Center, participating in RSVP’s America Writes program by becoming pen pals to local students, wrapping of gift books presented to local Head Start preschoolers, painting a local school’s dingy classroom, participating as special event volunteers. The possibilities are endless.

Additionally, ten Volunteer Impact Programs provide volunteers with unique opportunities to have a profound and direct impact on our community’s most vulnerable populations which include disadvantaged preschool children, at-risk youth, the elderly, those with low literacy skills, the unemployed, veterans and struggling nonprofit organizations.
