Accepting the 2025 Women in Leadership Award, Dr. Rhea Fernandes, Executive Vice President & COO of Devereux, delivered words that moved everyone in the room. Rhea carries forward a mission rooted in compassion, excellence, and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to unlock their full potential. She honored the Devereux team members, uplifted frontline staff, and celebrated the vision of founder Helena Devereux. Her words on the ASCEND program, a bold investment in education, equity, and career development, showed how real leadership transforms lives. She told attendees, to “keep being catalysts and champions – advancing people’s lives and building a strong community”.
About the Award
The Main Line Chamber of Commerce and it’s Society of Professional Women are proud to present the Women in Leadership Award, to recognize outstanding professional women in our area. The award is presented annually to a woman who has achieved exemplary professional and personal accomplishments, in addition to her positive impact upon the Greater Main Line area. The nominees for this prestigious award include senior level executives from both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, who have contributed significantly to the betterment of the Main Line community.
